Outline Biography

1. I was born in Hallabja /Iraq and completed my primary and secondary schools, there. Then to Sulaimani.

2. I got my BA in English language and Literature at the college of Arts/Engish department /Mosul University in 1995 and was was one of the top ten students during all the four years of my study.

3. In 1995 I was appointed as a teacher in secondary school in Bazyan secondary school for boys later transmitted to Kasha secondary school for girls till 2003. During that period i taught all stages English language. Despite that I taught in summer courses to develop English language in different youth centers in Sulaimnai

4. in 2003 i was a teacher in Teachers Central Institute in Sulaimnai and i taught Grammar, Teaching Methods and conversation.

5. in 2005 i started my MA in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics at the college of Basic Education/ UNIVERSITY of Sulaimani.

6. After two years of study i completed my MA successfully with very good degree and then appointed as a teacher in the same college and department.

7. so in 2009 my career as a university teacher starts and i teachvaroius subjects in my field such as linguistics, Syntax, grammar and morphology.

8. from 2010-2013 i worked as coordinator.

9. in 1014 i was elected as a Fulbrghter and got Fulbright scholarship in USA/MA at Salem State University wheree i remained for 70 days.

10. in 2014 i got promotion from assist lecturer to the statues of a lecture after submission and publication two papers in the filed of Apllied linguistics.

11. i also have participation in conferences by reading papers such as in KETPN , in which i presented a paper entitles “using language games in language teaching” in 2012, while i presented another paper in ISHK university entitles “language Acquisition and language learning in 2014 in the 4rth visible conference. furthermore, in the same year , 2014 April , i had another paper presented in the first international conference of HDP university in Sulaimani.

12.Despite my teaching to undergraduate learners, i also supervise undergrate papers every year that up to now i have supervised more than 25 papers in different fields of linguistics.

13. in 2016 I was accepted as a PhD candidate in the college of Basic Education.

14. in 11/5/2019 I did my PhD Discussion successfully and my dissertation is the first to be done in the filed of contrastive and Applied Linguistics/DA.
