Delegation from University of Santiago de Compostela Visited University of Sulaimani

A delegation from Santiago de Compostela visited University of Sulaimani on Tuesday 13 January 2016.

The University of Santiago de Compostela delegates, Professor Anselmo Seoane Pampin (Erasmus-Mundus/MARHABA project External Evaluator) and Enrique Lopez Veloso, Director of International Office at Santiago de Compostela (Erasmus-Mundus/MARHABA project coordinator) were received by University of Sulaimani President, Professor Dr. Salahalddin Saeed Ali and Dr Karzan G. Khidhir, Director of International Academic Relations at the Presidency of University of Sulaimani.

During the meeting both sides discussed the implementation of Erasmus-Mundus/MARHABA project and reviewed what could be done to improve the project.

After the meeting the University of Santiago de Compostela delegates visited educational and leisure facilities at University of Sulaimani including laboratories, teaching halls and sports facilities.

The University of Santiago de Compostela delegates, Professor Anselmo Seoane Pampin and Mr. Enrique Lopez Veloso then held a seminar and Q & A session on Application Process of Erasmus-Mundus/MARHABA scholarships for students and staff of University of Sulaimani.

The aim of the seminar was to explain the application process and solve any doubts and issues about the application that University of Sulaimani candidates have faced.

University of Sulaimani is one of the Erasmus-Mundus/MARHABA partner universities and head of the country for the project.

The University of Santiago de Compostela delegates expressed their delightfulness to see the development and advanced facilities at University of Sulaimani.
