Delegation from American University of Beirut Visited University of Sulaimani

A delegation from American University of Beirut visited University of Sulaimani on Monday 11 January 2016 to discuss establishing academic cooperation.

The American University of Beirut (AUB) delegates were Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences Iman Nuwayhid (MD, DrPH) and Dr. Qassim El-Kassas Administration Director of the Faculty.

In the meeting, University of Sulaimani officials including Assist. Prof. Dr. Khasraw Abdulla Rashid (Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Post Graduate Studies), Dr Karzan G. Khidhir (Director of International Academic Relations), Dr. Kosar Mohammad Ali (Dean of School of Medicine), Dr. Falah Abddullah Hussein (Dean of School of Dentistry), Dr. Hiwa Khidhir Saeed (Dean of School of Pharmacy) and Dr. Atiya Kareem Mahmood ((Dean of School of Nursing) were present.

Both sides discussed establishing bilateral relations in different specialties regarding health care sciences and how to collaborate in research and academic projects.

Getting benefits from the master programs offered by the developed American University in Beirut was also discussed.
