A Group of University of Sulaimani Students Participated in Two Weeks Course at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, Germany

A group of 15 undergraduate students from Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering of University of Sulaimani participated in a special course during a two weeks study tour at the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences in Germany. The study tour was funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and there flight tickets were covered by Qaiwan Group.

During the two week course which started in September 16, 2015, the students were given various lectures by expert lecturers at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, and they also vested several project sites for renewable energy such as energy mountain and Forbach-Schwarzwald dams.

The students were accompanied and supervised by Mr Rebwar Omar, Assist. Lecturer in Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering of University of Sulaimani.

Different group of undergraduate students from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering of University of Sulaimani also participated in a similar special course last year at the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences which was also funded by DAAD.
