University of Sulaimani Staff Participate in Erasmus Mundus MARHABA-Academic Staff Exchange Program At University of Cagliari

Ms. Selar Shawkat Izzat, Assist. Lecturer at Department of Biology, School of Science in University of Sulaimani has successfully participated in Erasmus Mundus MARHABA-academic staff exchange program at University of Cagliari, Italy from 21/09/2015 to 21/10/2015. During which she conducted training of academic staff, learned new research techniques and Italian culture.

At the start of the mobility and arriving at Cagliari, Ms. Izzat was welcomed by the kind staffs and coordinators at the University of Cagliari. Then a welcome day at 6th October 2015, was arranged which included course of Italian languages and a variety of other activities.

Ms. Izzat started working as a Researcher at the Department of Public Health, Clinical and Molecular Medicine also at the pathology laboratories. She was acquainted with the researchers there, their research works and the research centers strategies and learnt many biological techniques as well as the methods of developing traditional ways in making valuable products with research.

Ms. Izzat also presented seminars about Kurdistan and University of Sulaimani for staffs and researchers at University of Cagliari, during which many topics were discussed and future collaboration plaunned between both colleges.
