·         Do not read while watching television or listening to music.

·         Read in a nice, quiet environment. Do not save your language arts homework for late night. It is hard to complete a reading assignment when you are tired.

·         Read the story along with your son / daughter and discuss.

·         Be sure to come in and ask questions. I am available every day before and after school.
