I am an Adjunct Instructor in the Center for Environmental Arts and Humanities. My teaching philosophy is influenced by my experience as a trial attorney in the 1980's and 1990's and over forty years of experience with yoga -- both of which convince me that we learn best by doing. Attentive practice is the key to mastering any skill.
In addition to teaching, I also serve as Special Assistant for College Outreach, and I am also a widely published writer of poetry and creative nonfiction.
MFA, Creative Writing, Vermont College of Fine Arts

As the spouse of Unity's president, Stephen Mulkey, I also enjoy hosting student and community events at Unity House, the college's net-zero residence. You can read about what we do at Unity House here: http://livinggreenatunityhouse.blogspot.com/
