Main Research FieldsMicroeconomics, Game Theory, Public Economics,  Industrial Organization, Development Economics.  

My research locates at the intersection between Game Theory, Microeconomics, Industrial Organization and Public Economics. My most recent papers focus on the stability of cooperation among coalitions and groups, on the effects of firms' collusive agreements in vertically differentiated markets and on the cooperation between NGOs and non-profit organizations.                 
                                                                                                                 
In 2011 I joined the University of Rome La Sapienza, where I am currently Full Professor of Economics. I teach Microeconomics (BSc), Advanced Microeconomics (MSc) and Microeconomics Topics (Ph.D.). I previously taught at the University of Urbino, Italy and London School of Economics, UK. 

I hold a 
Ph.D. and a M.Phil. in Economics at the London School of Economics, a  M. Sc. in Economics at the Université Catholique de Louvain and a B.Sc. as well as a Doctorate in Economics at the University of Rome La Sapienza.

Since January 2016 I am the Editor-in-chief of Annals of Public and Cooperative Economics a journal published by Wiley (IF 2020 1.905, Cite Score 2.9, rivista di classe A per tutti i SSD A13 dal 2016).

I have recently coordinated the European Working Group on Organization and Governance in Social Economy Enterprises sponsored by CIRIEC International.

Since 2014 I am Program chair of the Oligo Workshop and from 2021 member of the Committee of 
Oligo Association, an international group of scholars devoted to the topics of oligopoly and game theory. We jointly organized the following initiatives: Oligo Workshop 2014,  Oligo Workshop 2015Oligo Workshop 2016, Oligo Workshop 2017 and Oligo Workshop 2018Oligo Workshop 2019
Oligo Workshop 2020, Oligo Workshop 2021.

In June 2019 I was in the scientific board and main local organizer of N.G.O. 2019 International Conference.

I am Deputy Coordinator of the Ph.D. Program on Social and Economic Sciences at Sapienza, member of CREI, member of the Scientific Commitee of CIRIEC International for Social Economy, fellow of the Game Theory Society and of the European Economic Association for Industrial Economics and of Societa Italiana degli Economisti.
