The prof. Fabio Babiloni graduated with honors in Electronic Engineering from the "Sapienza" University of Rome in 1986.

In 2000, he obtained a PhD in Neural Engineering from the Technological University of Helsinki, Finland.

He is currently a full  professor of Physiology at the "Sapienza" University of Rome, where he teaches:

  •  "Physiology" at the Medicine and Surgery course.
  •  "Neuroeconomics and neuromarketing" at the Psychology of Communication and Marketing course.
  • "Industrial Neuroscience" at the Biomedical Engineering course.
  •  "Electronic Bioengineering: clinical applications" at the Biotechnology course.

The professor Babiloni is on the list of Top Italian Scientists, the best 2,500 living Italian scientists in all fields of knowledge, operating in Italy and abroad.

His current interests include the use of computer brain interfaces for communication between subjects and electronic devices and the study of cortical activity during cognitive tasks in humans.
