Research interests
My research activity is mainly focused on ab-initio studies of few-nucleon systems. In particular, starting from a realistic description of the nuclear interactions and currents, I study nuclear reactions of astrophysical interest (for example, the proton weak capture on proton and 3He, and the proton radiative capture on deuteron). Recently, I have started to address these issues using the so-called chiral effective field theory framework.
