Research interests
The activity covers different fields of interest, in particular the growth of insulating materials for photonic applications: fluoride crystal and fiber crystals doped with rare earth ions , the study of upconversion effect for photovoltaic applications, solid state spectroscopy, solid-state lasers in the UV and Infrared wavelength region , solid state crycooler, development of tunable solid state visible laser for metrologic applications, study of low-energy detector for dark-matter and gravitational interferometer VIRGO.
