Research interests
My main scientific interest is in experimental particle physics whose main aim is the study of the characteristics of the elementary components of matter and of their interactions. I have carried out analysis related to test of the Standard Model (SM) theory both in the QCD and Electro-Weak sector and searches for new physics predicted in extensions of the SM theory. Experimental physics poses its base on the development and constructions of detectors where my main interest is related to calorimetry and jet reconstruction. I am presently working in the ATLAS experiment for which I am group leader in Pisa.
