Research interests
My research interests include flavour physics and CP violation. I am an experimental particle physicist mainly active in the LHCb experiment at CERN. Before LHCb I have worked in the BaBar experiment at SLAC and in the INFN SuperB project. I test the Standard Model (SM) of particle physics through the measurement of rare decays of the b-hadrons such as B(s)->mu+mu-, whose theoretical cleanness make them very sensitive probes for physics beyond the SM. I am also interested in testing the CP violation mechanism in the quark sector through precision measurements of the CP-violating phase gamma.
