Research interests
I am interested in challenging measurements in particle physics, particularly regarding heavy quarks and CP violation. I have experience in building and operating fast trigger systems and developing new data analysis techniques. I like to train young people in the field and have supervised more than 25 theses. I participated in the CDF experiment since its beginnings, and served as convener of Flavor Physics group, and as spokesperson for the whole CDF collaboration. I have also been a member of the Particle Data Group. Currently I am the Principal Investigator of the Pisa group in the LHCb experiment at CERN.
