Research interests
Italian Principal Investigator for the participation of the Italian Space Agency (ASI) and Italian universities in the CALET experiment in operation on the International Space Station (ISS) since October 2015, for the study of high energy cosmic-rays, dark matter search, gamma-ray bursts observations and GW electromagnetic counterparts. CALET is an international collaboration funded by JAXA, ASI and NASA.
Development of instrumentation for high energy physics experiments in space
APIX2 project funded by INFN for the development of an innovative CMOS digital sensor for ionizing radiation.
