I am a member of the MEG experiment which looks for signals beyond the Standard Model from the existence of the muon decay on electron plus photon (without neutrinos). MEG phase 1 performed on of the most stringent test on the SM ever by measuring the probability of the µ->e+gamma to be <4.2x10^(-13) @ 90% CL. MEG phase II is under construction at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland and I am the responsible fo the trigger design and construction. The same system is used by the FOOT nuclear physics experiment aiming at measuring the nuclear fragmentation associated to hadron therapy, for which I am the trigger coordinator.
I am also involved in the LSPE and LiteBIRD which aims at measuring the linear polarisation of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) at large angular scales, to find the imprint of inflation on the B-mode CMB polarization. In particular I am going to contribute the detector read out.
