Research interests
My research is about the detection and study of gravitational waves by means of large ground based interferometers like Virgo. This newly opened channel allows to probe gravitation in the strong field regime and access phenomena where the energy in play is the highest. We work on ways to extend the useful frequency band and reducing noise to discover new sources and better understand the known ones. I want also to share possible applications of our work and know how, mostly in acoustics, that is sound and noise. I like trying to find ways to explain physics in a simple way.
