I worked on KLOE in Frascati (CP violation in Kaons) and AMS-02 experiment on the international space station with earth control center at CERN (direct antimatter and dark matter search in space). I'm actually working on Mu2e at Fermilab (charged lepton flavour violation in the muon to electron conversion) and I'm starting to collaborate to the g-2 experiment at Fermilab (precision measurement of muon anomaly).
I'm interested in discovering or investigating any indication of new physics beyond the Standard Model of Particle Interactions.
What and where is the dark matter? What makes the electron and the muon different particles? What is most of the universe made of? My approach to this questions is an experimental one, trying to design (with the help of Monte Carlo simulation) and to build (with the help of laboratory and particle beam tests) always more challenging detectors and experiments.
