Children's Ministry

Children are very important to us.  We provide Sunday school for pre-Kindergaten to grade 12.  Sunday school runs from Sept through May.  Each year the youth bring the Christmas story to life as they share their talents with the congregation and friends.

Faith Believers Incorporated (FBI) is a youth group ministry shared with St. Peter ELCA.  The kindergarten through grade 3 are hosted at the Moravian church and the 4th through 6 grades are hosted at St. Peter.  We occasionally combine and share in larger activities.

Our youth group has a wide variety of activities. Most Octobers see them serving the community in cleaning, raking, washing windows, etc.  Other activities includes campouts, mini-golfing, serving in the church and leading worship once or twice a year.

Adult Ministry

Sunday school isn't only for the young - we have two adult classes that meet during the Sunday school hour.  One follows a Sunday school curriculum and the other follows current events and contemporary issues.

There is a weekly Bible study on Tuesdays and at various times throughout the year a parsonage potluck and Bible study.

Giving to the Community

Helping Hands Ministry

We have available some limited supplies of groceries and other means of helping those who are finding themselves in a difficult position.  If you find yourself in need please call the church and your name and number will be forwarded to our Helping Hand Coordinator.

Twice per year we host a Red Cross Blood drive. Usually in May and September.  You can book an appointment through the Red Cross website or just drop in between 1:00 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. on the specific day.  The need is growing and if you are able please give blood it may save more than one life.

A couple times of the year people give of their time, food and energy to serve meals at Trinity Episcopal Church's Food of Faith program in Bay City.
