My name is Terra Leggat and I am presently in my 14th year of teaching currently placed in a Grade 5 class in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada with some time also spent as the Learning Support Teacher.  I teach in a French Immersion, dual track school although I teach students in the English stream.  I have also taught Kindergarten and some Grade 2 at this same school.  Prior to teaching in Lethbridge,   I held a teaching position in a private school in Calgary, Alberta where I taught French as a Second Language to students in kindergarten through grade 12.  As well, I also have experience teaching on a Hutterite colony in Central Alberta where I was the only teacher in a one room school house instructing students in grades 1 through 9.

I have recently graduated from the University of New England with my Masters of Science in Education with a focus on Educational Leadership.  I hope to enter into administration in my district becoming an assistant principal, vice principal and maybe one day a principal.  I am also a believer in the philosophy of life, long learning, and thus, through my masters, I want to improve and evolve my current educational practices.

Following is a summary of my work through my Master's studies.
