Wei Research Group at JSNN

Welcome to the website of Professor Jianjun Wei's group. Our research focuses on cutting-edge nanoscience and nanotechnology and is highly interdisciplinary.  Employing methods of advanced nanofabrication, synthesis, electrochemistry, and spectroscopy to study complex behaviors of assembled bioelectronics, nanoplasmonics and nanophotonics. The aims of the research are twofold: fundamental understanding and potential applications.

Current research interests in our group
Nanobioelectronics: nanoelectrochemistry of rodox-active species and biomimetics, interfacial electron transfer, electrochemical and electrical sensors.
Nanoplasmonics: Localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR), nanobiophotonics, chip-based biosensors, and biomedical diagnosis.
Functional Materials: Advanced micro/nanomaterials, nanocomposites for energy and environmental applications.
Nanobiomedicine: Novel nanoparticles for photodynamic-therapy, quantum dots as anti-oxidants.
