I'm an Assistant Professor with the Power & Energy Systems Group, at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). I recently graduated from the Dept of ECE, University of Minnesota (UMN), under the supervision of Prof. Georgios B. Giannakis. Before that, I received my Bachelor degree from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2006, and Master degree from UMN, in 2009, both in Electrical Engineering.
Currently, my focus is on power system monitoring, operations and control, the smart grid. Please check out my Google Scholar Profile page here.
New: our papers "Distributed Optimal Power Flow for Smart Microgrids" and
"Monitoring and Optimization for Power Grids: A Signal Processing Perspective" have recently been accepted.
New: our paper "Sparse Overcomplete Representations for Efficient Identification of Power Line Outages" has appeared in the IEEE Trans. on Power Systems.
