The Sports Management Association is a student lead organization in affiliation with the Curtis L. Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. We serve to provide undergraduate students with an insight to the highly competitive sports marketplace. The organization allows students to foster an education of the different business careers in the sports industry and in other industries that apply business principles to their products through association with sports. We provide students with the opportunity to have fun and build lasting relationships with professionals from all over the sporting field. We encourage and provide students to grow and reach their full potentials both personally and professionally.

The Sports Management Association holds meetings where professionals come to campus and speak with students about their experiences in the professional world of sports. Students are allowed to socialize with speakers allowing them to build relationships that they can take with them after they graduate. Meetings are held every other week at TCF Bank Stadium (enter under Jackson doors) on the University of Minnesota East Bank Campus. Meetings are held every other Wednesday from 5:00-6:00 pm. Along with biweekly meetings as an organization we travel to sporting events and take tours with professionals in their elements. Its a total behind the scenes peak into the world of sports and what their is to experience in a future of sports.
