About us
Minnesota Crew is a nationally competitive racing team looking for tough & driven athletes to join our rowing program. No experience required!

Rowing at Minnesota is a chance to train & compete with other dedicated athletes who want to succeed
at a high level.
The sport is easy to learn; the majority of our members had zero experience rowing before college. You can add your name to a team with over a half dozen national championship wins and countless more medals. If you’re a competitor, a racer, or a leader, you can be an oarsman.

Who do we want?
We want tall athletic guys who are willing to compete. The traits that predict success in a rower include mental toughness, dedication, and grit.
Just as important as rowers are coxswains – small & tenacious, with a quarterback’s attitude and a jockey’s grit. Coxswains are the leaders of the team, and the brains behind the brawn.

Officially established in 1957 the Men's Crew has a long history of excellence at the most prestigious regattas in the country.  Learn how to join today!

Keep up to date with Minnesota crew  on social media!
