Bio

I am a PhD candidate expecting to finish my degree in 2022. My current research is focused on the costs and cost-effectiveness of retention and re-engagement in HIV care in the United States. I am an active member of the Society for Medical Decision Making (SMDM) and serve on their Education Committee. Prior to UMN, I worked as a Research Project Manager at the Healthcare Systems Engineering Institute in Boston (2016-2018) and as a Research Assistant in the Medical Practice Evaluation Center at Massachusetts General Hospital (2014-2015). I also work as a grant writer for a non-profit organization called RIA Inc., which provides a broad range of recovery services to women survivors of sex trafficking in Massachusetts (2014-present). I have a MS in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University and a BA in Anthropology from Cornell University.
