Bio: Jiani Zhou is a fifth-year PhD student in the Health Services Research, Policy and Administration at the University of Minnesota, concentrating on health economics. She received her B.S. in Biological Sciences from Sun Yat-sen University and MSPH in Health Policy & Health Services Research from Emory University. Prior to entering the PhD program, Jiani worked as an ORISE fellow at the CDC's Division of Reproductive Health. She is currently a research assistant at Medtronic. She is also working as a research assistant for Prof. Pinar Karaca-Mandic.

Research Interest: Health economics; provider behavior; provider networks; health information exchange; health information technology
