The transfer of primary responsibility for graduate programs from the Graduate School to individual college deans will change many aspects of the work we do to support graduate students. Academic Support Resources (ASR) is working with Graduate School, collegiate, and program staff to review, redesign, and, in some cases, automate or digitize administrative processes.
Along with the Graduate School's transition website and ASR's website, this website will provide information and updates about projects which are or will soon be in progress.
Graduate students can now request registration exceptions using an automated form. ASR has prepared information, including single-page guides, to support staff and students using the new form.
ASR has begun work on the degree program form and its related data conversion requirements, with focus on the adviser, committees, language requirements, minor declaration, and master's plan components.
