The College of Liberal Arts' Office of Research and Graduate Programs (ORGP) administrates various graduate student fellowships, provides departments with earmarked funds for graduate student conference travel and dissertation research expenses, and gives financial support for CLA graduate programs' recruitment efforts.

CLA's Faculty Grants Support Team compiles a comprehensive list of external funding sources, fellowships, and post-doctoral awards for faculty.

Some of the responsibilities of ORGP are to:
  • Act as CLA's liaison to the Graduate School, Graduate Student Services and Progress (GSSP), and Academic Support Resources (ASR)
  • Serve as the college's liaison to other collegiate units with whom the college shares joint graduate programs
  • Work with faculty, staff to enhance program excellence and ensure student success
  • Lead collegiate efforts to enhance the diversity of CLA's graduate students
