Outstanding Service Awards

Outstanding Service Awards

Nominations are due on Friday, October 20, 2017.

Nominations should be submitted electronically as a single PDF (per individual or work group) to clahr@umn.edu.

Outstanding Service Awards are presented annually by the College of Liberal Arts to recognize and reward outstanding service to the college by civil service, bargaining unit and academic professional and administrative employees and work groups.

The selection process includes evaluation of the nominations by a selection committee, followed by recommendations to the dean. The CLA Outstanding Service Award selection committee typically consists of two or three civil service or bargaining unit staff members, two or three academic professional and administrative employees, and one representative of the dean.

Nominees will be evaluated on the basis of the nomination. The nomination should concisely document the outstanding achievements and contributions in the nominee’s role as a civil service, bargaining unit, or academic professional and administrative staff member. Recipients will be honored at a special recognition reception in early 2018.

If you have any questions, please contact Angie Plambeck (plambeck@umn.edu; 5-1805).
