I am a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science emphasizing the fields of American politics and political methodology, with a minor in Political Psychology. Before coming to the University of Minnesota, I worked in Washington, D.C. for the National Science Foundation as a Science Assistant in the Division of Social and Economic Sciences, and as the Grants Manager for the American Educational Research Association. During my time at the University of Minnesota, I have had the opportunity to learn and work in an interdisciplinary environment through the Center for the Study of Political Psychology, as well as serve as a research assistant for the Election Academy at the Center for the Study of Politics and Governance through the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Throughout my Ph.D. I have also contracted on a short-term basis with external research organizations, such as The Pew Charitable Trusts. In fall 2017, I will start as a tenure-track assistant professor at Carleton College in their Department of Political Science. University of Minnesota Affiliations |
