This site is intended to provide resources for current and prospective Certified Approvers (CA). The CA Community of Practice (CoP) additionally serves as a forum to share ideas, expertise, tools and job aids. The Discussion Groups are designed as a place to post concerns, ask questions, contribute ideas, and provide constructive solutions to CA issues on a variety of community relevant subject matters.

A Community of Practice is a group that comes together based on shared interests.  Learn more here.

As appointed exam certified transaction approvers, CAs serve to ensure that financial activity adheres to University and sponsoring agency policies. Certified Approvers follow relevant guidelines to determine whether a given transaction is allowable, allocable, reasonable, and affordable. Each fiscal year Certified Approvers must engage in continuing education events to retain certification status and stay informed about changing policies and procedures.
