Student Academic Success Services (SASS)

Take a for-credit LASk course to learn academic skills including test taking skills and managing test anxiety. 

Students meet with an academic counselor to help develop studying and test taking skills.

Academic Skills Assessment Package
Interested in learning more about how to utilize your academic strengths and learning more about how to improve other academic areas? Students will take the ACT Engage College questionnaire and the Learning and Study Strategies Inventory free of charge. The ASAP program is a three session model, which includes an initial meeting, a test review session, and a third meeting to plan for next steps. 
Ask for the program when scheduling your appointment.

Use them on your own to help with the topics of exams, memorization, study habits, time management, and others.

Multicultural Center for Academic Excellence (MCAE)

All students are welcome at the Multicultural Center for Academic Excellence (MCAE) Instructional Center. We offer academic support services in STEM, languages, and writing. MCAE also offers workshops in areas like time management, test preparation, and more!

SMART Learning Commons

See the format of previously given tests or practice your test taking skills by using the Test Bank collection of previously administered exams, quizzes in a wide range of courses.

Meet with a Peer Learning Consultant for your specific classes to review before the test.  Available by drop-in or appointment.

Attend a PAL session to study with a group for a test. 

Disability Resource Center

Test Taking Accommodations
The Disability Resource Center assists in implementing accommodations, including accommodations for test taking. They also collaborate and consult with colleges, departments and units to create accessible learning and working environments.
