About Camp

Summer Camp For Adults (SFA)  evolved from Saug For All which was a spin off of A.M.U.U.S.E. summer camp held at a campground in Saugatuck, MI with cabins and dining hall right on Lake Michigan. When we lost our Saugatuk location we moved to another campsite (Nissokone) on a small lake in Michigan at Oscoda near Lake Huron.  Click here if you want to take an interactive tour of Camp Nissokone.

At Nissokone we stay in nice cabins with bathrooms and hot water and have our meals cooked for us in a dining room that holds a couple hundred campers and staff.

After lunch campers are free to choose their afternoon from going to town, swimming, hiking, horseback riding, playing tennis, games etc. or just reading a book.   Nights have optional planned activities for performers and audience members. Would you like to perform at the coffeehouse or the camp show or tell a tale at the Moth Hour of true storytelling?

Campfires & dancing also happen some nights. Stay up as late as you want but remember that morning groups start at 9:00 AM right after breakfast.

A sister camp, Simply Amazing U.U. Gathering (SAUG), also spun off.  It is available later in the summer and meets in Racine, Wisconsin across the street from Lake Michigan.
The Racine camp is held at a former college resembling an old Ivy League campus of limestone buildings with gardened grounds. Some say it reminds them of Hogwarts from Harry Potter movies.
