Welcome to the Statistics Graduate Student Seminar!

We hold a weekly seminar series with research presentations, panel discussions, and occasional guest speakers from outside the university.

The seminar will typically be held on Thursdays from 1:00-2:00 during the academic year 2017-2018.

We seek to initiate and facilitate the exchange of ideas and collaboration among junior researchers in statistics and related fields, including bio-statistics, mathematics, engineering, business, and the physical, biomedical and social sciences.

Started in the 2007, the Statistics Graduate Student Seminar has been widely valuable to students both inside and outside the Department of Statistics. We receive funding from the Rackham program for interdisciplinary workshops.
