This is my old webpage. My new one is here.

Rob Silversmith

I am a 6th-year graduate student in Mathematics at the University of Michigan. I work on orbifold Gromov-Witten Theory with my advisor, Yongbin Ruan. Starting in Fall 2017, I will be a Research Assistant Professor at the Simons Center for Geometry and Physics.

I am interested in geometry of moduli spaces and orbifolds, especially moduli spaces of curves and related things (stable maps, branched covers).

My research so far has been on problems related to mirror symmetry, including the crepant resolution conjecture and the Landau-Ginzburg/Calabi-Yau correspondence conjecture.

Here is my CV.
