Welcome to the University of Michigan Postdoctoral Association website.
The UMPDA plays a vital role in your success at Michigan and we are here to help you with any questions you may have.  We are always looking for ways to improve our communication with postdocs - if you are unable to find what you're looking for on our website, or have suggestions on ways to improve other communications, please send us an email and let us know!  Interested in being a board member?  Here are the primary responsibilities for board members:

            Attend monthly board meetings (Held the second Friday of every month, 9:00 A.M. in the GAP conference room)
            Work with other board members to plan events, seminars, and workshop
            Actively participate in UMPDA activities, postdoc circles, etc and serve as liaison to postdocs within your unit/department

The Outstanding Postdoctoral Fellow Award is designed to recognize outstanding postdoctoral fellows at the University of Michigan who have demonstrated a breadth of excellence among research, mentorship, teaching, leadership, and service.
