Please note: We've also found that some leasing agents will ask you to provide employment verification. We can do this for you. Just email us with the agent's contact info and we'll send along the usual letter!

Transportation

Parking in Ann Arbor and on campus is often limited. If you have a car, you can consider student parking options. However, getting around Ann Arbor without a car may be even easier. Use the U-M Blue Bus or AATA routes to get around for free! Michigan's campus is also super-commuter friendly, with lots of bike lanes and motorcycle parking. U-M also partners with the Zipcar car-sharing program to give you discounts.

Exploring Ann Arbor

From sipping coffee and catching up with friends in a cozy cafe to spending the weekend kayaking along the coast of one of our Great Lakes (we actually have the longest freshwater coastline in the US!), you'll never be in shortage of things to do outside of lab. The Ann Arbor Visitor's Bureau is absolutely a wonderful resource. Keep an eye on their news page or sign up for an area guide, and receive periodic emails about fun things to do in Ann Arbor. (We've been here for years and still enjoy their emails!) Additionally, you can access this handy essential guide to Ann Arbor, (in case you didn't save your copy from interview weekend!).
