Students

I currently advise/co-advise 2 PhD students.  I am advising 3 masters student for the summer. It has been and currently is a honor to work with such great students!

Sangseok You
(Article on Sangseok)
Sangseok You, is now a postdoc at Syracuse University in their School of Information Studies working with Kevin Crowston. He graduated with his  PhD from the School of Information at the University of Michigan. He is a passionate knowledge-seeker with a firm belief that computers and information can help build a better world by influencing the human mind. His current research interest lies at the information behavior in virtual collaboration settings and the cognitive approach to credibility judgment in information behavior. He is also interested in the role of virtual agent in CSCW. Examination of socio-psychological effects of human-computer interaction, such as interactive media and virtual environment, has been conducted during his master’s years under multidisciplinary perspectives—communication, computer science, robotics, and cognitive psychology.
