am a second year Ph.D student studying mathematics at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, interested in (algebraic) number theory* and algebraic geometry. I graduated from the University of Chicago in 2014. Prior to that, I attended high school in the middle of nowhere.

I taught math 105, math 115, and math 116 at Michigan during the Fall 2014, Winter 2015, and Fall 2015 respectively. In Winter 2016, I will teach Math 116.

I like listening to music. I like classics (I do not particularily like Mahler unlike this person), pop (not really kpop despite the fact that I was born in Korea), and actually most of the subcategories of music. I recently started listening to Jazz after reading Geoff Dyer's book.

I also like reading books. Some of my favorite writers are: Fyodor Dostoevsky, Jorge Luis Borges, Italo Calvino, Gabriel García Márquez, and Anton Chekhov.
