Michigan Engineering logos and design elements

Horizontal signature
This logo is the primary version of our signature. Minimum print size is 42.2% (or 2.0802" width)

Vertical signature
This signature is typically reserved for settings in which there is limited space and the preferred horizontal signature would not be legible. Minimum print size is 88% (or .8427" width).

Campaign signature
This adaptation of the U-M campaign mark enhances the Victors for Michigan platform with the use of our tagline, "Because the World Needs Breakthrough Engineering." Minimum print size is 30% (or 1.957"). Please refer to the U-M campaign style guide for graphic standards.

E-mail signature
To include the horizontal College logo in your Google Mail signature, simply link to this URLhttps://sites.google.com/a/umich.edu/engin-cmbrand/CoE-horiz.png. You can create an e-mail signature under the “settings” menu. Set image size to Medium.

NOTE: Marketing and informal signatures will not be generated for use at the College of Engineering.

Editorial
Associated Press Stylebook (APS) is our official reference in matters of writing style and grammar. College Style Guide for Writers includes items that are specific to the College and either do not appear in the APS, are exceptions to APS rules or do appear in the APS but are repeated.
