My name is Christopher Sullivan and I am an assistant professor in the economics department at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.  My research interests lie in industrial organization and applied microeconomics. In particular, I study the degree to which firms in markets for differentiated products collude on the product space in addition to or in lieu of colluding on price.  I received my Ph.D. in economics from the University of Michigan in 2017.  I grew up in Boston and graduated from Harvard in 2009 with a A.B. in economics and a minor in molecular and cellular biology. Before attending Michigan, I spent two years as a research assistant in the empirical economics program at Microsoft Research New England.
