The American Indian Studies Interdisciplinary Group (AISIG) is looking for people who would like to workshop their writing within the field of American Indian studies. For the 2012-13 year we are still searching for anyone who would like to workshop a chapter, a portion of a book manuscript, a dissertation prospectus, or any other kind of substantial research project. Papers will be circulated in advance, and you will have the benefit of discussing your work with people from a range of disciplines.
AISIG is a Rackham-sponsored interdisciplinary study group, and during our successful first year we organized a number of workshops, book discussions, and roundtables. These events were attended by faculty and students from many different departments.
If you're interested, please contact one of the coordinators listed below, and include information about your paper or project, as well as the ideal date you'd like to present.
We look forward to hearing from you.
