LSA Student Academic Affairs is pleased to host the 14th annual Conference on Undergraduate Academic Advising. The conference provides colleagues across the campuses, including both UM−Dearborn and UM−Flint, an opportunity to discuss topics of mutual interest. All sessions will be held in the Michigan League with a heart-healthy breakfast available in the morning and a catered lunch.
The conference will begin in the Michigan League Ballroom with opening remarks by Esrold Nurse, Assistant Dean for LSA Student Academic Affairs, followed by our opening plenary speaker Dr. Robert M. Sellers, Vice Provost of Equity, Inclusion, and Academic Affairs at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
After two 75-minute breakout sessions, lunch will be served in the Michigan League Ballroom; after lunch we will have a third 75-minute breakout session, and end the conference with an exciting closing plenary session. Detailed information can be found on the conference schedule.
Advisors, faculty, and administrators from all units of the Ann Arbor, Dearborn and Flint campuses are welcome and encouraged to attend. Please join us as we learn more about advising practices and available campus resources to help students, staff, and faculty connect in creative and supportive ways.
This event is funded by the generous support of the Monroe-Brown Fund.
