A Message to Our RCADD Community
The Resource Center for Autism and Developmental Delays exists to ensure children, students, families, and educators in our community have access to high quality learning materials and resources. Our lending library is a vital part of that mission.
At this time, we are experiencing a significant number of overdue library items that have not been returned. This impacts our ability to meet funder expectations and, more importantly, limits access for the children, students, and families who rely on these materials for learning, development, and growth.
We kindly ask all patrons to please check your homes, classrooms, and offices and return any RCADD library items that are currently overdue. Every item matters and every return helps ensure continued access for another child or family.
Library materials may be dropped off at RCADD, located at 1640 Roosevelt Rd, Chicago, IL 60608. A designated drop off location is available on our floor, and no appointment is required for drop offs.
Please do not feel apprehensive if it has been a long time since you last visited the Center. Returns are always welcome. If you would prefer to schedule a visit, need assistance, or have questions before coming in, you are welcome to call us at (312) 413 4441. Please note that parking passes are available only when scheduling an appointment.
If an overdue item is no longer usable or cannot be returned, we ask that you consider replacing it with a comparable resource or making a donation to the center. These contributions help us replenish materials and sustain access for our community.
If returning an item is not possible, donations of any amount help us replace materials and continue serving children and families.
