Guelph Storm assistant captains Garrett McFadden and Marc Stevens visited to promote
the importance of literacy to primary students in January, 2016.  They read aloud to the
classes, answered questions and signed autographs.  This was part of the Storm's Read to                Succeed program.

        Go, Storm, go!!

Author and artist Janet Wilson presented to our grade 3-6 students in late November, 2014. She spoke about her art and her recent series of non-fiction books about children from around the world and how they are making a difference through their actions and words.

Staff from the Guelph Public Library made presentations to both our primary and junior students in the Fall of 2014.  They talked about various GPL programs and digital resources available.  Check them out at  www.guelphpl.ca/
