Stephanie Lampkin

Hello and welcome to my professional E-Portfolio.

Currently, I am a doctoral candidate (ABD) in History at the University of Delaware in Newark, DE.  I received my M.A. and Museum Studies certificate from the University of Delaware in 2010.
My dissertation explores the intersections between black and indigenous communities during the 18th century in Florida, a period when Florida changed hands between the Spanish and British.

As an emerging museum professional, I am interested in the creative ways history is presented to the public through educational programs and unique and engaging exhibits.  I am particularly interested in digital history projects.

I am a highly motivated, well-organized, and enthusiastic individual.
Upon completing my dissertation, I plan to become a curator at a museum or director of a historical society.  With my technological skills and academic training, I am open to teaching at the college-level.
