What to do if you can't find a form
3. Consult the subject log on the experiment desk, and determine what the next available subject id is (syntax: gender|integer|age group)
4. Pull up the personal name-subject ID key list.

5. Find the E-Prime program to run and open it up in E-Studio.
6. Start Netstation.
7. Make sure experiment room is clean and set up.
First: Consent form
1. Instruct subject that they can leave their personal belonging in room 125, and make sure door to hallway is closed.
2. If subject arrives early, have them wait in room 125.
3. Once all is ready, seat subject in subject chair in room 125A.
4. Give them the consent form to read. Once they have read it, review it one more time orally.
5. Make sure they understand what will happen, and verify that they volunteer to participate. If so, have them sign the consent form, and you sign the form.
6. Assign them a subject identifier (syntax: {m|f}{INTEGER}{ch|ad}. Check the SUBJECT LOG for next available integer.
7. Enter subjects' name and identifier in the SUBJECT ID - NAME KEY list. Then file away the consent form in the appropriate experiment folder in the locked filing cabinet.
Second: Questionnaire
1. Enter the subject identifier (not the name) on the questionnaire and give to subject to fill out.
2. Enter subject identifier, date, subject number your initials, time in in the SUBJECT LOG. Subject number syntax: {experiment mnemonic}-{integer}. The integer is a sequence starting with e.g. 1, and counts the number of subjects enrolled in the study, e.g. PT-3 is third subject run in the PAST TENSE II experiment.
3. Answer any questions they may have about the questionnaire. Once they are done, file the questionnaire away in the appropriate experiment folder in the locked filing cabinet.
11. While subject is filling out questionnaire, measure their head circumference, select appropriate net size, and soak in saline solution.
12. Measure head circumference, select appropriate net size, submerge in saline solution for 5 minutes.
13. Measure and mark the vertex.
