A couple must have strong fullup cupies and fullup arabesques before attempting double ups
Double up Liberty
For the Double up Liberty, the male will start with a regular toss but will initiate the hips a little bit earlier than a regular fullup. It is very important and difficult, but the male must wait to grab the feet after 1.5 twists the same way as a regular fullup. The dismount is a regular pop off.
The female will follow the same technique as a fullup but must be prepared to spin harder, tighter, and earlier than a regular fullup. The female does not need to think about stopping to the front, but to continue to spin two times until she reaches the front. The dismount is a regular pop off.
*Also shown is a Double Up Opposite Heel Stretch Tick Tock. The tick tock is discussed under tick tocks, but for the double up the male will spot for the left foot instead of the right foot. The female will do the same technique.
Double up Cupie
For the Double up Cupie, the technique is the same as a double up liberty and the male will wait to grab with only one hand similar to a fullup cupie. The dismount is a regular pop off.
The female will do the same technique as a double up liberty focusing on squeezing her feet together.
