HR Employee Relations (Chrissy Shinn)
  • Analyze and create descriptions for new positions
  • Manage recruitment of all positions including faculty, staff, and research positions
  • Process reclassification requests
  • Coordinate training opportunities
  • Manage the selection and hire process for all CBO Work Study positions
  • Monitor personnel procedures
  • Ensure COE compliance with federal, state, and University HR-related policies

    (e.g., FMLA and Worker’s Compensation)
  • Manage labor relations issues, including manager-employee conflicts, pay equity issues, termination issues, etc.
  • Coordinate COE new employee orientation
  • Provide employment verification letters required for visa processing
