Starting July 2017, I will be an Economist with Amazon Web Services.

My main area of research is development economics, specifically, trying to to understand constraints to small/micro-entrepreneurial expansion and agricultural technology adoption with a focus on behavioral interventions. I have additional work on microfinance, child nutrition, and youth education. My geographical area of expertise is East Africa/Horn of Africa.

My teaching interests are in any field involving empirical microeconomics - development, econometrics, microeconomics, behavioral/experimental economics, impact evaluations, and public policy.
